Donations

Pathway is currently accepting donations of desktop computers, laptop computers, and tablets in good working condition. Your generosity directly supports digital access and health in our community.

Your donated devices will be put to vital use:

  • At Our Community Connected Care Lounge: Donated devices will be utilized on-site, providing crucial computer access for D.C. residents to attend their telehealth doctor's appointments.
  • Bridging the Digital Divide at Home: The need for home access to technology is significant in our community. According to the 2021 American Community Survey (ACS), about 54,000 households (17 percent) in D.C. were without access to a desktop or laptop. Beyond our lounge, donated computers and tablets may also be distributed to individuals who demonstrate a critical need for computer access at home, helping to ensure no one is left behind. Eligibility for home distribution will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Our Commitment to Transparency: To maintain transparency, we will notify each donor when their donated device has been successfully placed with a recipient.
